Many people are concerned about starting yoga because they believe they are not flexible, strong or coordinated enough. The beauty of yoga is you get to practice exactly as you are and that will always be good enough. Our classes are welcoming, non-judgemental and partcipants are encouraged to go at their own pace.

Before Attending
  • If you have an injury or a health condition, please speak to your doctor or health practitioner to make sure yoga is safe for you.

Your First Yoga Class
  • Please be 10-15 minutes early so you have time to get set up before the class starts.

  • Please wear something comfortable that allows you to move and breathe easily. Bring an extra layer so you can adjust your temperature as needed. Yoga is done barefoot.

  • Try not to eat a heavy meal within 2 hours of class time. Choose a light meal instead.

  • You may find your mind is busy at first, but over time it will quiet and relaxation will deepen.
